Before heading out the door
To run errands around town
Lunch out just the four of us
At a little restaurant among the crowd
Prepared by others while we wait
And not cleaned up my me afterwards
Window shopping through the mall
Cooperative kids just coming along
Looking for the best deal
Or the perfect outfit
Spending time with
My best friend and husband
Followed by my sweet, little boys
As we spend some time as a family
Feet in the sand
Warm breeze blowing the spring trees
At the neighborhood park
As children are playing and laughing
A night out without kids
A grown-up dinner of meat and potatoes
Quiet conversation with one another
Followed by a movie
