Now that you know putting on shoes means going outside, you drop everything and anxiously wait for me to put them on. You shoot straight for the door and stand there glaring at me as your way of telling me, hurry mama! You grasp my hand as I open the door to help yourself down a step. Then, you take off but turn to see if Im following, because you are still a little scared to be without me in sight. Each time you turn around, your free spirit seemed to have taken you farther. I hope this free spirit takes you back to me every time, because I love you so much.
