journaling reads: There are days when I feel a little spent, a little emotionally exhausted and when Im not being the best mommy I could be. The best person I could be. Sometimes I lose my patience with you and sometimes I find myself feeling frustrated with you when I shouldnt. Sometimes I get over-focused on the unimportant things in life and sometimes I forget to slow down and pause and just soak up the moments with you. But somehow, God has a way of giving me moments like these...where you just look at me with your beautiful calm eyes and sweet face. And I always find my way back to whats really important. You are important. Daddy is important. Our time together is important. Praising God and spending time with Him is important. Loving and caring and giving are important. And learning from our mistakes is important. I hope you always know, no matter what kind of day I have or you have or we have, we can and do always find our way back to whats important if we let ourselves listen to the whispers of God in these moments as He nudges us to remember and treasure and cherish all that matters, and let go of all that doesnt. I love you, sweetheart with all my heart and no matter what. You are beautiful, you are special and I love you.
