The Process: I began with one of Annas patterned background papers from ArtPlay Palette Wunderlust. I added the fotoblendz, and attached the photo. I placed the frame on top of the photo, making it smaller than the photo, and I added the Stitched Bitz to make it look like I was sewing down the frame. To help emphasize the photo, I then added a Distressed FotoFrame, sizing it to make it a bit larger than the photo, and I changed its color to the light brown. I added the Find My Way Overlay, and then added the ScriptTease Travel along the right edge, changing their color to a blue, and using blend mode Linear Burn. I added the word strips on top of the frame, including one where I added the page info. I then, the LoopDaLoop. I copied the LoopDaLoop, and using the smudge tool, smudged the copied layer, making it look like a shadow. I added the string of banners, and rotated them so that it looks like an extension of the LoopDaLoop, and placed the letters FLY on the three banners. I placed the Plane at the other end of the LoopDaLoop, and the Title FLY slightly overlapping the photo. The BigWords Journey fit perfectly along the left side of the page, and I changed the color to a dark teal blue. I added the Amelia Earhart quote. I wanted more texture (can never get enough texture), so I added a few of the Tissue Textures, plus for even more texture, I added a white paper with a grid patterned on top of the photo and background paper, and used the blend mode Multiply, which blended out the white of the paper, giving everything a grid texture. I brought the opacity down to soften it. I considered the page done, but I couldnt resist adding one of Annas new MultiMedia Butterflies to the page as well. ;)

So much to love here. I esp. like the title with the map clipped to it (or is it an alpha?)...the big word...the dramatic photo.....

Love the quote so true, I have fascination to look from above hat I do in all my trips. fantastic page. Ann

you really know how to put a page together. always interesting. always seamless in its flow.

this is quite something. The design is spot on perfect.
All the bits and pieces and every little detail are just the right touches to the page.
