You got your first haircut
when you were 3 years old.
We drove all the way up North
to Meron, to the tomb
of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai.
We left in the wee hours of the morning,
davened Shacharit and then ...
Sabba Aaron cut your golden curls
for the first time ever.
Afterwards we all had a picnic
and drove back home -
where I took you to a hairdresser
to get you a proper haircut..
It was an amazing experience.
