There was quite a flurry of 4th of July festivities in the Marshall’s Cabin neighborhood. I walked with Oz to the neighborhood center, where we got him a firefighter’s hat and some festive decorations for his stroller. A little later there was a parade of fire trucks and bicycles past the house. The best news was, there were only a few “booms” overnight. It was relatively quiet, which is exactly what we wanted for Cher.
