Journaling: In just a few minutes alone, Lily managed to decorate her entire face with a marker. At least it was a dry erase marker & not a Sharpie. When I came downstairs, she ran to hide under the desk so I wouldnt see it. As if! I immediately sent her to the naughty step, but could not resist getting my camera. I needed to document this event. She is so accustomed to having my camera in her face... so she decided to strike a pose. I quickly informed her that she was NOT to smile for the photo because she was in time-out. This look just about melted my heart. A few days later, I was looking at this photo & laughed. Lily came over & asked me, Mom, why are you laghing at this picture? That was when I was naughty and wrote on my face. You told me not to smile, so why are you laughing? All I could say was that it was funny to look back on the moment, but that didnt mean it was okay to do it ever again. Not even with a dry erase marker.
