Journaling reads: I felt worse for all the kids than I did for myself. Our older granddaughter, a high school senior, had no Prom and no graduation. They were assigned a time to go to the high school when they would be alone for pictures. Our younger granddaughter missed almost a year of school but took advantage of the empty streets to do some of her gymnastics. They both made the best of things.
