This is a a photo of my cousin. I didn't know I had one until just a few years ago as her father passed away a long time ago. Sadly, he never knew about her as he was in the Vietnam War and was separated from her mother due to deployment. Well, she found us and we welcomed her to the family in 2004!

Here is poem I gave to her with a special crystal bracelet. The bracelet having both her initials and that of her father - my uncle.

It reads:

From a different time and place
beyond the farthest Sea
a child was born who longed to trace
her other family.

A dream to fill once she had grown;
travel to a distant shore.
Discover those she'd never known;
she found what she was looking for.

Blend the present with the past,
share distant memories so dear.
Connected now, the bond will last,
as will the symbol she can wear.
