Falling Apart

Products on Sale in the Store 10th October

Even though it is Spring time in Australia, the colours of Autumn are some of my favourites.

I started with my 12 x 12 white page and then looked through all the elements in APP Fallen Blush. I chose one of the transfers to give me inspiration for
the piece and placed that at the top right hand corner of the page.

Oh before I started as I knew there would be a lot of white space on the page, I created a stroked of 3px around the inside edge - via Edit - Stroke.

I then added another of the transfers on its own layer but butted up against the previous transfer to form a clump. I then used a third element from the palette to form the group.

I wanted to add some of my own colourings from an image I had taken and manipulated so decided to clip it to one of the leaf brushes. Firstly I added the leaf brush below the main layers and moved it to peak out from the others.

I then added my imaged and clipped it to the leaf via - Layer - Create Clipping Mask - (ALT+CTRL+G). I had to move the image around slightly to get the colours I wanted to show throught but that was simply by selecting the layer
and moving the image.

I wanted the piece slightly bigger on the page, so selected all Layers and then used -CTRL+T to get the transform active and just dragged slightly to make the whole image bigger.

Finally I added the wording from AutumnWordMix2. I duplicated the layer so as to make it slightly darker.
