The eyes look dead and lifeless, despite their beauty. A butterfly softly perches on her cheek and yet she seems not to notice. The world is alive with the rich colors of autumn, yet she stares at them unaware of the vibrant power they hold to move her soul. To look at the world with a spirit so dead is a far worse fate than blindness, as even the blind can imagine beauty.
