I'm not usually one for journaling, but I've read so many wonderful, honest & heartfelt stories this week, that I just felt compelled to journal something from a few years ago (2001 / 2002 to be precise).
My journaling reads:
Learning to walk again following your accident was probably one of the hardest things youve ever done. Im so proud of you.
Even during the darkest days of treatment when I was back at work, you never once said why me?. Im so proud of you.
Even when you were fitted with the halo brace, which left you with scars on your beautiful face, you never said why me?.
For these and many other reasons, I consider being married to you to be my everyday miracle. Thank you.
