Journaling: There are times in your life that bring a
larger awareness of the world around you. The summer of 1958 was one of those times for me. Instead of our usual family camping trip we loaded up the yellow rambler station wagon and headed south of the border to Ensenada, Mexico. Only 10 hours from our home in Northern California, I felt very wordly visiting a foreign country. Melodious sounds of new language, cheerful bustling of colorful marketplaces and rich history evident in beautiful architecture and lovely mission churches greatly enlightened my limited seven year old understanding of the world I had lived in up until then.
I cann't choose between the two of them!!!
I that picture!!! The warm red is gorgeous, but in the other one i love the blending into the burlap and the clean white of the building.
