Process
After viewing Annas recent, free YouTube tutorial, Melic For Digital Artistry without Photos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=So-Hvdhysto , I decided to give it a go. Since I love photography, my typical starting place for digital art is with a photo or photo series. I actually started this process with word art thinking the phrase would encourage another waiting for actual Spring or for one of those metaphorical spring seasons in life. Then I selected the MultiMedia Spring flower 1_4 because I thought the greeting phrase would look nice in the gap between the petals and the leaf; and placed both on white solid paper 1 from ArtPlay Palette Daffodil. Clipped a green piece of paper to the word art. Pulled paint and stains from the other MM Spring flowers, recoloring the stain. Then finished this part of the card with elements; merged all layers; cropped smaller than the bottom layer which I cropped (AP Daffodil solid paper 3) to 4 1/2 x 6 1/4 to fit a standard A6 envelope and added a couple of transfers.
