Embrace Love

This is a throwback to the movie Back to The Future. "Chuck pulls up (with his iconic smile) and says "get in - where we're going, we don't need any roads".

I made the background from a photograph I took in the German Alps. We got such a kick out of driving on the Autobahn and always dreamed of taking the Corvette over there to "open it up".

Jeanne, I could just hug you right now - your awesome comments have completely made my day. I'm so glad that the "happier note" that I was trying to convey this week has shown through. I wasn't near tears when I was working on this, but of happiness, just remembering these things. Thank you for your sweet and heartfelt comments. :hug4::hug2::heartpumpred::beatingheart:

You are SO awesome, Lynne. First of all, thank YOU for creating these kits that I have used the heck out of - they've been perfect for my AJ pages. I have ordered all of the pages so far to be printed and I have used one of your kits on almost every one of them. Thanks for your support and your heartfelt comments. :heartpumpred: :heartpumpred: :heartpumpred: :hug2:

I am in love with this layout! The wonderful way you put your photos together to create such a scene is amazing! What a wonderful time it would have been to open that Vette up and let her purr. I can see Chuck and my Dad in their vettes, screaming down the golden roads of heaven. Laughing the whole way, pure joy. That's what this layout makes me feel, pure joy. :heartpumppink:

Omygosh, Tracy, when you said, yesterday you were wearing your Corvette pin and it was your dad's birthday, I about choked up. You hadn't seen this yet and I knew you'd love it! Yes, they would make quite a pair zooming around in their Corvettes, that's for sure - who knows? Maybe they are as we speak. I hope you had a wonderful celebration and I raised a glass for you. Thanks for your heartfelt comments, they're always make me feel so good. :lovey3::hug3:

I can see them, laughing, zooming, and telling stories. Chuck reminds me of my dad in that he is always smiling. I mean I know they're photos and you smile for photos, but I see him coming through the photos and he was always smiling. I know this without knowing him. And that was my dad too, always laughing and smiling. I see them sitting around talking cars and laughing at us and the stories they have. My corvette pin has my birth year on it too. I know thats why he picked it and why I kept it. :heartpumppink: :hug3: :heartpumppink:

They would have truly had so much fun together, especially talking cars. I know your dad loved Cadillacs too and so did Chuck. That smile of his - I call it his "iconic smile". He was just a happy guy and didn't let stuff get to him. He was the most positive man I've ever known, too. Always looked for the good in anything. I miss that smile and his amazing outlook on life. He was very photogenic because he always had that smile on his face. He was born that way, according to his mom. His nickname was Sunny, because he was always so happy. :heartpumpred::heartpumpred:
That's SO cool that you still have his Corvette pin.
