My dd is turning 20 next month, but I was looking through old photos and came across these and just had to scrap them. Her daycare made all the kids bunny ears, and the kids wore them all day. My dd and my bday are only 3 days apart, and this was the first time I ever recall Easter falling on my birthday which I thought odd. When Rachel came home that evening she looked so cute, and of course she never wanted to take them off, so being her birthday, the ears became part of her birthday celebration.
Journaling reads: Although Easter actually fell on my Birthday this year, because Debra had made bunny ears for all the kids to celebrate Easter, Rachel wore them the entire day. She was so cute, especially with the added red nose and little whiskers. She looked So very sweet! It made Rachel feel extra special to have her dad sit next to her on the window seat to help her open presents.
