The Maldives is our favourite holiday destination. Weve been to these beautiful coral islands five times, and each time, weve stayed on a different tiny paradise island. Our last visit was in June 2010, when we stayed on Velassaru. As with every island, the sands are always white, fine and soft under foot. The sea is always an enticing shade of aqua. Though never guaranteed to have wall-to-wall sunshine; most days are clear and bright and most evenings, warm and sultry.
