During a trip to the Melbourne Art Gallery, the kids found thesesleep pods they were beds with a screen above them and a movie playing that was designed to induce a dreamlike state to show the conscious mind what dreaming was like.
Aimee was in awe of them and it was fascinating to watch how quickly she slipped form reality into her own world. I actually had a difficult time gaining her attention again due to how far away she had gone. The autistic mind does some curious things sometimes, so many I wish I could understand better, but if her own world brings her peace and comfort, then when needed...
