I used the cute kit called Rain Rain Go Away by Girl Boy Girl and Flergs found here: http://funkyplaygrounddesigns.com/store/product.php?productid=24359&cat=0&page=1
and a template from Journal it templates from Marie H Designs found here: http://www.scrappity-doo-dah.com/store/product.php?productid=7058&cat=0&page=1.
My dd and her family recently moved to Kansas and this is a time line so far of their time there.
I took the journaling off her facebook page so it is in her own words.
Journaling says: Your FACEBOOK page tells the story!
May 21: TWC's Great Tornado Hunt is heading towards Kansas City this
weekend. So are we.
May 25th: Hunkered down in the basement, barf buckets and all. Sirens
going off, Scott sees the tornado from the freeway.
June 9: Under tornado watch and not a single cloud in the sky. if the watch
develops into a warning, (meaning a tornado has actually been spotted or the
radar indicates a storm producing a tornado) the sirens go off for the whole
county. The thing that is strange about this is that even the radar is clear. The whole
state of Kansas is clear on the radar. I'm guessing the moisture in the atmosphere combined with the heat
of the day is enough to produce storms that may pop up with little warning.
June 15: the thunder is nice, but my ears are still ringing and my heart still pounding
from the incredible crack of thunder a few minutes ago!
June 17: watching lightning bugs scatter as the lightning and thunder move closer.
Forecast says up to 3" hail possible. It's going to be loud for awhile. 3 separate red
storms on the radar just converged in the last 15 minutes to form 1 sizable storm and
the action is all headed our way.
June 20: (Yet another) stormy night. Even the wind
and the seas obey Him. This Kansas wind is affirming
God's sovereignty tonight!
we are under a tornado watch but most of the
damage in the greater area is due to wind and hail.
The storm was not as strong in our specific
neighborhood-we just lost a branch from a tree.
