In the early morning we are told that they will administer the doses of morphine every 3 hours, we decide to go for a walk in the afternoon. Because we are become crazy inside. Strange thought when you realize that you are waiting for someone to die.
Around 14h45 we get a message that he has passed away. He fought like a lion, unbelievable how much willpower he had left. His head still wanted to fight, but his body was fought.
I photographed this bird just before we received the notification of his death. Will never forget this moment.
