My last working day of this 2020 and I only have to work until 12h, great!
At 12h40 I have an appointment with the doctor and then my vacation can start. Although, just like for so many, it will be a very different holiday than usual because of corona.
It is already the 2nd day in a row that the oxygen level of my father-in-law has dropped drastically in the morning to 60.
He always recovers in the afternoon and is either exactly or nothing is wrong.
But he sleeps a lot, his body is fighting really hard against this covid monster.
The children discuss what to do, because he does not want to go to the hospital even though the doctors want to send him there.
It is agreed that he should not be intubated, he is 86 and the chances are very small that he will survive, so why bother him with this.
It's an emotional rollercoaster.
