What would a travel album be without a sunset spread? Dobar dan means good day in Croatia, where my son and daughter-in-law are winding up their 10-day holiday. The photos are really coming in by the bucketsful nowsurprised the cloud doesn't burst with the weight of them! Seriously, it feels good to be entrusted to document what has been a magical vacation for the kids. I am sure that the spreads will all be fine-tuned once we get together to debrief the vacation with a good bottle of wine: for the sake of expediency, I've been throwing the photos into spreads as I get them, hoping I'm getting the sequence rightand adding the details when I have time to fuss with backgrounds, brushes, and embellishments. No text thoughthat's up to them. It will be fun to share their experiences with them when we meet.
This spread was developed by me obsessing about my daughter-in-law's cool green sunglasses. I used the new Paint Strokes in that same green to move the eye around the spread and augmented them with the new Spatter brushes in deep blue.
