I love the story behind this song. The Beatles were close to having a record deal and John wanted to get married. Their manager, Brain Epstein, was upset because he had been promoting them as four handsome single guys from England. John was determined to be married so Brian made a deal with him. John & his fianc couldnt afford a honeymoon and didnt even have a place of their own, so Brian would let them use his flat for two weeks, if they promised not to tell anyone they were married. John wrote this song, Listen, do you want to know a secret?" while they were living there those two weeks. He says it wasnt necessarily because he was married, but that he finally realized he was truly in love!
