You simply love the books of Dikkie Dik, the curious orange cat. On January 29th, Jet Boeke, the creator and illustrator of 'Dikkie Dik' came to Zwolle to read to the little children. And ofcourse you were there too!
Armed with a black marker and a flipover, Jet started "reading". Picture by picture she drew the story, while she was enthusiastically telling that story. All the little children in the room were in awe...
In the beginning you were a bit afraid to sit in the front of the room, with the other children. Sitting on mommy's or daddy's lap seemed a lot safer. But after a while you conquered your fear, and bit by bit got a little closer. Until you finally felt enough at ease to find the best spot in the room, where you could see everything perfectly: right in front of Jet. And you wouldn't want to move from that spot for anything in the world!
When Jet finished reading, she stayed a short while, and... signed your copy of 'Waar is Dikkie Dik?' and 'Het dikke verjaardagsboek van Dikkie Dik'!!!
