Bio: Diane Weber is an artsy craftsy dabbler from the
San Francisco Bay Area. She was a professional quilt
teacher, lecturer, and quilt pattern designer before
taking up traditional and digital scrapbooking. She
also dabbles in sewing, home decor, mosaic art,
painting, artist trading cards, knitting, crocheting,
mixed media, and pretty much anything artsy craftsy.
She works full-time as a software engineering
contractor for a major eCommerce company. She
lives with her husband in a house on a hill with a view
of the whole Silicon Valley, where they enjoy the
outdoors and playing golf. Her daughter is also a
professional artsy craftsy person, designing for
Pottery Barn Kids in San Francisco.

My daughter got me interested in scrapbooking, and
while I don't do it much, I do love handling and playing
with paper, inks, mists, stickers, embellishments. I
stumbled upon digital scrapbooking in 2009. I already
had CS2 for my quilt pattern business. I've taken
several classes at Jessica Sprague to develop my
skills. I love a messy, grungy collage look but like to
dabble in all styles. I also love making photo books at
Shutterfly, Blurb, Snapfish or whoever has the best
coupons. I'm a P365 participant, and sometimes have
to be told to put down the camera and just enjoy the
view.
