Made with Classic Artplay release which is 50% discount until 22nd November.

Started with a plain background paper then played about layering various transfers over one another along with brushes from Kitchen Utensils 1 which I recoloured to tone in with the rest of the AP. I tend to select all the layers and move everything about the page quite a few times until I find the composition I think works. With this page I settled on a horizontal look then at the last minute popped an artsy paper at the back( bottom layer) behind the transfers already layered and repositioned so the paint strokes were at the top of the page then changed the mode to darken.

At this point I actually switched out the photograph I had been using - there's no point in flogging a dead horse, it just wasn't working - then decided on using this photograph of Neve from October, the colours work much better than the original choice and a full figure works better than the portrait style I had been working with. To balance everything I clipped a paper to a Fall Wordblendz ( discontinued in the shop) and then added tissue textures and some wordart.

Perfect choice of photo for your wonderful page, glad you switched out the picture, but I am sure the other was amazing also! Love these colours and the way you fit them all together!

You created a graffiti wall just for Neve! I love it! Had to laugh about the "dead horse" comment--so well I know THAT drill! Gorgeous vibrancy here, Fiona!

Gorgeous! Love the horizontal design and love hearing your thought process as you create!

f a n t a s t i c use of transfers and brushes.
aggree with musicmom3: it looks like a graffiti wall.
great colours too :).

I am loving the collage you created. Such wonderful energy. And I agree with Laura, know exactly what it feels like using the wrong photo and flogging a dead horse to make it work. These things take on a life of their own and you have to run with it. Neve looks as cute as a button and right at home amongst your art.
