Journaling:
We would often have a big snowstorm in September or October, but not this year. In fact we were starting to wonder if this was going to be one of those bleak winters with no snow at all. The amazing thing was the record breaking temperatures (below zero) that came along with the first snowstorm. There have been many months when our blue jays didn't visit at all, but during the record cold days we were feeding them a five pound bag of peanuts every two days.
