Deadhorse Loop Road was the most dangerous road we had ever taken, and with mud much worse than the jeep book described. We knew we were many miles of bad terrain from any help if things went wrong like when the mud made the jeep slide sideways inches from a steep slope.

You got some wonderful pictures. When my husband and I ventured down dirt roads our rule was we turned around when the phone wires stopped. Of course we didn't have a jeep.

YIKES! This is a blood-pressure-raiser! Glad all went well in the end. I guess that's why the word "Deadhorse" is in the name of the road. Shudder!
