Christmas shopping has changed a lot in the past several years. Some of the grandkids have grown and would rather have money than gifts. For the rest, our kids send us links to gifts their kids might like, so I no longer have to think of what they might like, or face the misery of malls and stores at this time of year. One of the best changes for me has been creating new personalized to/from tags each year, and printing them on sticky-backed labels. That, stick-on bows, and huge rolls of paper from Costco have made gift-wrapping fun.
