It is a bittersweet thing to me when the leaves change to beautiful colors in autumn and then eventually fall to the ground and die in an ugly shade of brown. Bitter because I know that winter is not far behind the sweet...the beauty of the colorful leaves. But, this too shall pass. For the Lord promises, “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22. Thank You, Lord, for the changing seasons!
