Process
Page 11 from Project Template Album 3 was opened up. A solid paper from APP Sparkle was used as the foundation of the page. An artsy paper from the kit was clipped to the large fotoblendz mask. Snippets of paper from APP Sparkle and APP Anew were clipped to the frame masks. The ballerina is a painting that my aunt did of a much younger me that hung in my room for years. It was extracted and using the adjustment tools some color was brought back. An artsy paper from APP Love Letters was clipped to the ballet brush, duplicated two more times with the blending mode changed to linear burn. This gave some dimension and texture to the brush. A new layer was created above the #11 and filled with gold, then clipped to the #11 with the blending mode changed to screen (reduced opacity). The stains and hipster plumes were recolored. Splatters, gold paint, and dimensional elements were added to complete the page.
