I was not home yesterday for taking the widows to their monthly meeting, so by the time I did get home, I was bushed and decided to wait until today to work up my days 11 and 12. Be sure to read my "adventures" from yesterday's trip over in the members' challenge area at the link below.

November 11, 2025 - Tuesday
I left the house at 9 to begin the pickup of the 4 widows from our church who were attending the monthly meeting at Damascus Baptist Church in Statesville. Fourteen sweet ladies turned out for the meeting on this chilly, yet bright and beautiful day. The pastor’s wife, Juanita, standing in the background, loves to add a special, personal touch by creating a delicious meal for the ladies. Kelly is her helper and music leader. She is not pictured.

November 12, 2025 - Wednesday
The van we rented to carry the ladies to the widows’ meeting had all the bells and whistles...more than I knew what to do with! We could not figure out how to adjust the middle seats to allow someone to enter the 3 seats so Kathy had to climb through a small area. The pastor at Damascus showed me how to operate the seats. It was a very comfortable ride. To the ladies it was their limo and I their chauffeur! I am returning the limo today.
