For this challenge you had to pick a song to inspire you from a variety of 19-themed song. I chose "she was 19" by Muddy Waters, because when I was 19 I was going to Chicago Blues clubs. I had a fake ID, didn't really look like me, but the clubs were always dark. The summer between my sophomore and junior years of college, my hometown honey was much older than me. Gasp, he was 27! He loved the blues too, so we spent weekends clubbing. We did go to the Checkerboard Lounge a few times, but it was after Muddy's time. Did see Johnny Guitar Watson and Mighty Joe Young though. My great-grandparents and my grandparents lived in the Southside of Chicago, I often wonder if they ever frequented the blues/jazz clubs. I wished I had thought to ask them.
