I love the grunge and the blending, but mostly I love the story of how young those soldiers were (and still are) and how brave they are.

Oh my, Jean, they were SO young. I can't get over it - they asked these kids to go in and do these things - unthinkable. My uncle was 19 when he went into the Air Force and was put in the job of bombardier on a fighter jet and the plane was shot down over Germany. I just can't wrap my head around these 19 year olds being put in these unthinkable situations. Thank you for sharing this story and your beautiful layout with us. Jean, congrats on the Standing O! Wonderful LO even with the darkness, it works well with the photos. My hubby was in the Korean War and enlisted at 18.
