Process
A solid paper from Artplay Mini Palette Feirie was used as the foundation for the page. The black and white photo was extracted and a half tone filer was added. It was then clipped to a paint layer in the Artsy Transfer. The glasses and round pizzas were added. The photo of my husband was clipped the fotoblendz mask from the kit. The mask was duplicated, flipped horizontally and the photo of the pizza was clipped to it. The pizza slice element from the Football word cluster was added, along with the beaded threadz. The page was completed by adding a paper texture, splatters, transfers from the kit, and word art.

This has so many fun things in it! The Friday night pizza theme is perfect. It was "the place to go" (do you remember Shakey's Pizza?) The design of the photos and elements is done so well!

Beverly, my husband worked at Shakey's Pizza when we lived in Colorado, summer of 71. We were broke college kids then. If someone didn't pick up a pizza, he brought it home after his shift. Many times we ate dinner at midnight!

Oh that is fun! We thought their's was the best, except for the small authentic Italian restaurants that were around back then. Yes, we worked 2nd shift for a few years, so always ate late. :)

You made a fun, unique, fantastic spread about a universal thing. Love the pizza glasses. I have started regularly making my own pizza at home. There's only a Mazzio's and an independent 15 min away, neither one worth eating, especially warmed over.

I love the story most of all, although the page design is creatively impressive, as noted above :-) The pizza glasses - the best! A couple of years ago hubby got an Ooni for Christmas, so he makes pizza. My SIL also makes his own. But we have a few favorites, and I have very fond memories of going out with my parents for Friday night pizza, paying $1.99 for a large authentic Italian pie in NJ.
