Thank you Marilyn. These flowers (fireweed) are a love and hate. They start blooming at the bottom in July and when they hit the top a couple weeks (two) later summer is over. We love seeing them bloom but it also is an indicator of summer ending. In Mid August they're all done and gone and temps start to get a touch cooler.
