About a year ago, mommy & daddy borrowed a dvd: 'Cowboy Billie Boem's present'. We turned on the dvd, and it only took 10 minutes watching for you to get totally hooked on it. Billie Boem the cowboy and his friend The Indian; the exciting search for Jacco, Cowboy Billie's escaped parrot; the musical interludes. In no time you could sing along with the songs, and before we knew it you also knew how to do the little dances.
Today you saw your big hero in real life. Because today you went to see 'Little spider', the theater-show of Cowboy Billie Boem; together with mommy & daddy, and with Hans and Isabelle.
You got to sit on your own chair, and because of the special seat-heightener you sat high enough to be able to see everything. We were in the very front of the theater, on the second row, very close to the podium... very close to your big hero.
Filled with amazement, and deeply impressed, you watched the show. And there was so much to see: the little mole with the large glasses, the sweet little spider that went to sleep, the twelf #!# buckets of water that had to be fetched, the moon that started shining, and lots and lots more...
After the show all the children could pet the little mole and spider if they wanted to. And you wanted to. Because impressed? Yes. But afraid? No.
And at the moment we walked out of the theater, you suddenly said: "Famke give Kaalie Boem a kiss." So daddy took you back into the theater, back to the stage. And ofcourse Cowboy Billie Boem wanted a kiss from such a sweet little girl. And so it happened... SMAK!
