I don't know if you can read the journaling, but it says:
Justin steps on Samantha's foot (accident):
Samantha: "OW!"
Justin: "Sorry."
Samantha: "You hurt me!"
Justin: "You can still walk."
Me: "Wow. That is your dad talking."
you know the love is there, but so is the logic.
