Admittedly, we were teenage hotshots. When we knew that Barry, our boss, and the head of the ski school, wouldnt be in, we ditched our uniforms and dressed however we liked. I remember these pants well--they were a light denim and I loved the print, but was too shy to wear them out of the house...except, of course, when I was skiing. --Mt. Storm, winter 1969 or 1970

I used the artsy transfer as a blending tool, starting with my photo on the top of the layer stack and the Artsy Transfer layers below it. By pulling the photo down the stack one layer at a time, I could tweak the photo into the layers, using layer masks as needed to conceal certain areas. I then added in a background (Artsy Paper #4 over Solid Paper #3 on color dodge blending mode), and created the landscape by stamping on a variety of brushes. The words, journaling, and button/Stitchez came last.
