My Dad told me long ago that if you don't like something you should work to change it. I've always tried to do that, but I missed the Women's March yesterday because I hurt my knee during our recent ugly ice storm. But I found some friends' photos online, so I could document how many women & men in Austin are working for change. Today, I am proud to live in Austin, TX.
Journaling:
I missed todays march because I jacked up my knee during the ice storm. Handmaids Tale representation was on point. Also loved the sign with the quote by the amazing Shirely Chishom, HRCs predecessor and the first black woman elected to the US Congress. Way to go, ATX!

Process notes:
A simple process because these templates make it easy. I opened up FIT No. 67 and placed/clipped my photos to the masks; I combined a few to better showcase the photos. I used a gradient on the background to match the dominant colors in my layout. I recolored the text box background, again to better match the colorsI added stitchez and buttons as accents. Journaling was my final touch.
Thanks so much for looking.
