Illuminate the World

I bought Topaz Simplify and am kind of clueless as to how to use it just now, but I did manage to get this affect on my photo which I took from the hotel suite the store rented for our Christmas party. Fabulous view of the park across the street. I must learn the interface of Topaz and just play around. FYI: Many a lady is asked for her hand in marriage in the gazebo and I believe we witnessed that this night from high up from the comfort of our suite, while people around them were trying to not watch.

Notes: Starting with artsy paper 3, I drew out a rectangle with the Shape Tool and clipped the photo to it. Underneath the photo I placed a couple of transfers from Sparkle at both edges, modifying a little with a layer mask to eliminate parts I didnt want. I framed the photo with the roughly edge brush and then piled on the sparkle overlays from the kit over the photo. I also added the splatters for good measure, it was snowing that night. I also added a couple fotoglows in the mix, blending.

Adding the sparkle dots under the photo and snow sparkles over the photo and placing the title, using a style on it to make it sparkle in gold. The bokeh under the title was to bring some of the color of the photo down and to cover the garbage cans in the photo.

Using some brushes from the kit, I added texture to the photo and a scribble towards the bottom of the page. Typing out the words at the top of the page and added a style to them also. I placed the buttons into mix of snow sparkles along with another transfer at the bottom of the page. That finished it.
