The 138 feet tall pyramid at Coba was the heart of the city. The 120 stone steps are much steeper than they look. Climbing up is fairly easy. Its much more difficult coming down.
Journaling:
We checked out the first ruins and when we started toward other sites we saw it was too much of a hike. We hiked back and hired a bicycle taxi to see the rest of the ruins. We were glad we did. We still did a lot of hiking.
