The greatest gift is family but what my family taught me was to travel because they never would. For 10 years every summer we would drive from lower AZ to Denver and never would they stop to see the Grand Canyon. Well I travel and I married a man who loves to travel too!

Some of the negative lessons have the most impact (my parents and DH's parents were terrible grandparents to our kids, so we go overboard being "good" grandparents). I know why my family didn't travel--they couldn't afford it. But to g from AZ to Denver and NEVER stop to see the Grand Canyon???!!! You learned this lesson well! Good for you. Gorgeous page, by the way. I love how you made all the photos "go."
Lucky you to have a man that loves traveling ! When we first got married my hubby didn't like it. But when we got kids, we went every year and he still loves it now !
Agreeing with SharLamb. Wonderful page and journaling. Much of what I have taken away from my family history is how NOT to live one's life (or raise one's children). Lessons are lessons, however learned. I like all the travel details you used surrounding the main photo. Keep on exploring!
