Journaling reads: We popped into Marshalls for something or other on the way to pick up Eva at the train station and this is who we met. No way we could resist this photo op! --Christmas 2013
To jumpstart my design, I pulled in the layers of the Artsy Template, figuring all the texture and stain work would be done for me and would save me time, and that is exactly what happened. I removed the frames and the postage layers, then composited in the two photos of my kids with the Big Man. The background is a sandwich of Artsy and Solid papers, on various blending modes, with some areas layer-masked away, and then I layered on the the hearts and stars overlays from the Artplay Palette, again duplicating, using different blending modes, and then layer-masking areas away. I finished with the word art and journaling.
