Journaling: The only time Oliver sits in the striped chair is when we light a fire. Then he hops right up and snuggles right in. We often make the joke that we should bring him his robe and slippers.... Eventually, we will hear him snoring from across the room.

In Photoshop Elements 14

I altered my snapshot of Oliver, my grand-dog, to look more like something you'd find on an old greeting card, and dragged him into position on the canvas, clipping him to the Fotoblendz. I created the background from Joyeux solid paper 1 over solid paper 2 on overlay blending mode. Then I recolored layers on the Fotoblendz to match. I added Artsy Transfer #4 to snuggle Oliver into the side of the page, then stamped on the watercolor trees, decking some of them out with glitter styles. To finish things off, I added Artsy Transfer #5 on the bottom of the layer stack, reorienting certain layers as needed, then placed the word art and did some brushwork.
