White Christmas

I used a mixture of papers and elements from Courtney Designs Jack Frost and Frost Fairies kits.
The journaling says:

The one memory that always comes to mind
when I think of Christmas is of the wonder of my
first White Christmas. When I was little, my
mother (who was divorced) worked full time and I
always spent Christmas week at the home of my
childhood friend, Marilyn. Her parents had lots of
special Christmas traditions. There were always delicious
cookies to eat, and the tree was never decorated until
Christmas Eve. There was also always a visit from Santa
Claus. (When I grew older I figured out that "Santa" was
Marilyn's grandmother, but when I was really young I truly believed that Santa had paid us a special visit.)

We were allowed to open one gift on Christmas Eve and
then we had to go to bed. One year, after the cocoa and cookies,
the visit from Santa, and the much anticipated gift opening, one
of the adults looked out the front window and said "Look, it's snowing!", and so it was. Marilyn and I peeked around her parents, and saw the beautiful snow falling ever so gently in the yard and on the street. Christmas carols were playing on the radio and so the perfect "Norman Rockwell" Christmas memory was created.
