The new ArtPlay Palette Joyeux has touches of vintage postcards, so I used a vintage postcard as the main image. I love vintage postcards and have a small collection, but this one came from the New York Public Library digital database.

Process notes:
I used ArtsyPapers No. 1 and 3 from ArtPlay Palette Joyeux as my backgroundmerged together with No. 1 as the top layer on blend mode of multiply with 45% opacity. I placed my vintage postcard art and blended it into the background. Added the holly transfers on each side for a more Christmas feeling. Clipped a few warm glows to the postcard and one above Santa. I created a composite (Shift+Cmd+OPT+E) and applied a color pencil and sharpen filter and the used the overlay blend mode at 29% opacity. The wordART from Holiday WordART Mix No. 7 and the poinsettia were the final touches.
