Journaling:
So different from the desert canyon hikes, atop Mount San Jacinto, at the top of the Palm Springs Aerial Tram line, one finds white rocks, firs and pines. It was also about 30
degrees cooler at a pleasant 62 degrees.
The Round Valley loop was about 5 miles, with plenty of work climbing the rocky paths.
