I used a Mandela sketch from myself in the background (flower). I had a lot more focus on that in mind..but Frida wanted the spotlight I used some filters on the center picture (the B/W one) later a wanted a more painted look so ik duplicate to a new document, I got rid of the white parts with select- color range.

I played with brushes, clipped the original picture and (with shift- alt-crtl- E I made a stamp and dragged that to my original file Frida already was in the center so I pressed the shift key to align

I duplicated the original one, played with blend modes and grouped them. I chose Exclusion forThe group
