And that's it! I always do the first page of an album last, and now with this page complete, the album documenting my son's and daughter-in-law's recent travels through Croatia is DONE! Onward to printing! (PS: "Dobar Dan" means "good day" in Croatia. It's the name the kids chose for their album.)

This is a particularly nice template because it comes with a built-in Fotoglo...one less thing to fuss with! To make this layout, I altered a postcard of Croatia that I found on the internet using a variety of filters, then dragged it into place on the template. I duplicated it and clipped both copies to the template's photo layers. I then duplicated the postcard again (and then again) and blended these copies on top, under different blending modes, to highlight certain areas, using the #7 blending brush. The postcard was pretty flat-looking, so I added the paper textures for a more tactile feel, layer-masking away whatever I didn't need with my blending brush.
I added the background paper and blended in the top photo, also using the #7 brush, and added a transfer from the Artplay Palette.
I then added the framed photos to the page. Using several of the new brushes, I brushed in some green, blue, and gray paint to augment the paint areas that came on the template. To finish off, I placed the wordART and embellishments.
